MELBOURNE CUP!

Gday everyone! On the 2nd of November we decided to go to the spring races since we've been living in Melb and not attended any of the melbourne cups before!

 Rachel and I with our favorite fashion icon of the day, Elvira! We couldn't help but built in some courage to take a photo with her! She revealed she made her own dress and fascinator. She looks absolutely stunning doesn't she?

 Whilst enjoying our picnic and the early horse races, it started pouring all of a sudden!

 Our picnic mat was drenched in water, we were soaked..but that didn't stop us from smiling!

It was such good fun enjoying our picnic, admiring other people's fashion and betting on the main race (even though we lost) apart from the bad weather.. We would definitely go to the races again, but this next round, to Darby day or Oaks day (a day more concentrated on ladies fashion!)
